Wide Neutral Grip Lat Pulldown (Cable)

Also known as: Wide Neutral Grip Lat Pulldown (Cable).

Seated lat pulldown with widely separated inward-facing parallel handles.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit under the thigh pads with both feet grounded. Hold the wide parallel handles with palms facing each other and hands clearly wider than the shoulders.
  2. Start with long arms overhead and a steady torso. Drive the elbows down and bring the attachment in front of the head toward the upper chest.
  3. Let the attachment rise under control, keeping feet and thighs anchored without swinging the torso.
