Supported Boat Pose (Bodyweight)

Also known as: Supported Boat Pose (Bodyweight).

A held boat pose with the hands supporting the lower legs.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Balance on the pelvis with torso tall but inclined backward, hold the shins with both hands and raise the legs together into a comfortable V with knees straight or softly bent.
  2. Hold the supported boat position steadily, then bend the knees and lower the feet with control to exit. Treat as a timed hold rather than repeated unsupported V-ups.
