Stability Ball Incline Press (Dumbbell)

Also known as: Stability Ball Incline Press (Dumbbell).

An incline dumbbell chest press with the upper back supported on a stability ball.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Support upper back and shoulders on a stability ball with feet planted wide enough for balance and hips below shoulders so torso is inclined. Hold one dumbbell beside each upper-chest side, palms forward and elbows bent; keep neck aligned.
  2. Press both dumbbells upward above the upper chest without changing body support or colliding weights. Lower under control through a comfortable range. Keep the ball stable and use manageable resistance.
