Seated Single Arm Row with Rotation (Cable)

Also known as: Seated Single Arm Row with Rotation (Cable).

Floor-seated one-arm cable row with controlled thoracic rotation.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit on the floor facing a pulley at seated torso height, with legs long, knees soft and heels supported.
  2. Hold one handle. Start with the working arm long and shoulder turned slightly toward the cable; keep the free hand by the hip.
  3. Row the hand toward the lower ribs while gently rotating the chest away from the cable. Keep pelvis and legs stable.
  4. Rotate back under control as the arm lengthens. Avoid jerking or deep lumbar rounding.
