Kneeling High Row with Rope (Cable)

A row from a tall-kneeling position using a rope attached to a high cable.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Kneel on both knees facing a high pulley with one rope attachment, hips above knees and torso upright. Hold a rope end in each hand, arms reaching diagonally upward toward the pulley; cable clear of head.
  2. Pull the rope ends toward the fronts of the upper chest/shoulders as elbows move outward and back, keeping torso steady. Extend arms diagonally upward to the same start; do not finish in an externally rotated face-pull position.
