Incline Scapular Push-Up (Bodyweight)
Also known as: Incline Scapular Push-Up (Bodyweight), Incline Scapular Press-Up (Bodyweight).
An incline plank in which only the shoulder blades move.
How to perform this exercise
- Place both palms on a stable bench beneath the shoulders and step the feet back into a straight inclined plank. Keep the elbows long, forefeet planted and neck aligned, starting with shoulder blades in a comfortable neutral position.
- Allow the chest to sink slightly between the shoulders by bringing the shoulder blades together without bending the elbows. Press the bench away to spread the shoulder blades, then return under control while maintaining the same body line.
