Incline Serratus Raise (Barbell)

Also known as: Incline Serratus Raise (Barbell).

A small shoulder blade movement with a barbell on an incline bench.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Lie on an incline bench inside a suitable rack with head, back and pelvis supported and both feet planted. Hold a light barbell overhand with long arms vertically above the shoulders and shoulder blades settled against the pad.
  2. Reach the bar a few centimetres upward through the shoulder blades without bending the elbows, then let the shoulder blades settle back. Keep the head on the pad and use a controlled small range.
