Deficit Push-Up on Blocks (Bodyweight)

Also known as: Deficit Push-Up on Blocks (Bodyweight), Deficit Press-Up on Blocks (Bodyweight).

Push-up with flat palms on two separate low blocks, allowing chest descent below hand level.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Place two low stable blocks just outside shoulder width and rest one palm on each.
  2. Step back into a long-arm high plank with both forefeet on the floor.
  3. Bend the elbows to lower the chest between the blocks through a comfortable depth.
  4. Press back to the starting position, keeping torso and hips aligned.
