Decline Twisting Sit-Up (Bodyweight)

Also known as: Decline Twisting Sit-Up (Bodyweight).

Full sit-up on a declined bench with a controlled torso turn near the top, alternating the turn direction between repetitions.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Secure the legs on a declined abdominal bench and lie with back and head supported, the head lower than the feet.
  2. Keep the hands lightly by the temples. Raise the torso and turn gently near the top so one shoulder approaches the opposite knee.
  3. Return to center and lower the back onto the pad under control. Do not pull on the head.
  4. Turn the other way on the next repetition while keeping the legs secured.
