Bent Knee Side Plank, Straight Arm (Bodyweight)

Also known as: Bent Knee Side Plank, Straight Arm (Bodyweight).

Knee-supported side-plank hold on one straight arm, with the knees bent and hips raised.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Support yourself on the right palm with a long arm and hand beneath the shoulder. Stack the bent knees and place the left hand on the hip.
  2. Lift the pelvis to align shoulder, hip and knees. Keep the side of the lower knee and lower leg supported.
  3. Hold while breathing steadily without sinking into the shoulder or hip.
  4. Lower the pelvis under control and change sides. Record hold time per side.
