Standing Single Arm Preacher Curl (Dumbbell)

Also known as: Standing Single Arm Preacher Curl (Dumbbell).

A standing single-arm preacher curl supported on an incline bench.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Stand behind a stable incline bench with both feet grounded. Rest the back of one upper arm along the upper part of the inclined pad and hold one dumbbell underhand; the free hand stabilizes on the bench. Start with the working elbow softly extended.
  2. Bend the supported elbow to curl toward the shoulder, then lower slowly while keeping the upper arm on the pad and the bench stationary. Switch arms after the set.
