Seated Towel Hammer Curl (Bodyweight)

Also known as: Seated Towel Hammer Curl (Bodyweight).

V-seated two-leg resisted hammer curl: one towel around distal thighs immediately above knees, two thumb-up grips, knees draw inward as elbows bend.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit in a reclined V-position with both feet airborne and the legs relatively long in front, slinging one sturdy towel around both distal thighs immediately above the knees.
  2. Hold one end per hand with thumbs up and wrists straight.
  3. Bend both elbows and draw the knees inward while the legs provide gentle resistance, keeping the trunk at roughly the same incline.
  4. Lengthen the legs and arms again, keeping feet and upper back off the floor and avoiding jerks at the knees.
