Seated Bent Over Rear Delt Row (Dumbbell)

Also known as: Seated Bent Over Rear Delt Row (Dumbbell).

A seated dumbbell row with the elbows high and moving outward.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Sit near the edge of a flat bench with both feet planted. Hinge the trunk forward over the thighs with a long back and let two dumbbells hang beside the shins, one held securely in each hand.
  2. Draw both elbows outward and upward toward shoulder level as the weights move toward the sides of the upper torso. Keep the trunk still and lower both weights to the hanging start.
