Reverse Lunge with Front Kick (Bodyweight)
Also known as: Reverse Lunge with Front Kick (Bodyweight).
Reverse lunge followed by a controlled forward kick of the stepping leg.
How to perform this exercise
- Stand upright with feet together and arms free for balance.
- Step one leg backward and bend both knees into a controlled lunge, keeping the front foot fully grounded.
- Drive up through the front leg and bring the rear leg forward: raise the knee and extend into a controlled low front kick.
- Set the foot beside the standing leg. One repetition includes the lunge and kick; switch sides after the set.
