Sumo Squat (Bodyweight)
Also known as: Sumo Squat (Bodyweight).
Unloaded squat with a wide stance and toes turned slightly outward.
How to perform this exercise
- Stand with the feet well outside hip width and toes turned slightly outward. Distribute weight across both whole feet.
- Bend the knees and hips, lowering between the legs with the knees tracking in the direction of the toes.
- Stop at a depth where the spine remains neutral and the heels stay down.
- Push the floor away and return to standing without snapping the knees straight.
