Reverse Lunge (Bodyweight)

Also known as: Reverse Lunge (Bodyweight).

Alternating backward stepping lunge with empty hands at hips.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Stand tall with feet hip width apart and hands at the hips.
  2. Step one foot backward and bend both knees. Lower the rear knee toward the floor while keeping the full front foot planted.
  3. Drive through the front foot to rise and bring the rear foot alongside it. Alternate legs and keep the pelvis controlled.
