Alternating Triceps Kickback (Dumbbell)

Also known as: Alternating Triceps Kickback (Dumbbell).

A triceps kickback in which the left and right arms extend alternately.

How to perform this exercise

  1. Hinge forward with knees soft and both feet flat, neutral spine. Hold one dumbbell in each hand, upper arms beside torso and elbows initially bent about 90 degrees.
  2. Extend one elbow behind while opposite elbow stays bent; return it, then extend the other. Keep upper arms and torso still and repeat alternating cycle back to both elbows bent.
